Brazil Announces $66B Stimulus Plan

The FT had an article today about Brazil's stimulus packaged.  President, Dilma Rousseff, is trying to spur growth as the economy is expected to expand at just 2% or less this year after growing 7.5% in 2010.  The stimulus will target infrastructure, focusing on railways and roads initially.  Airports, ports, and waterways are also on the agenda.  With the World Cup and they Olympics coming to Brazil, I'm glad to see the country taking early steps to prepare for these events.
